Landscape Beds

Landscape beds are different than perennial beds in that they typically include shrubs and trees as well as perennials.  They are typically located around the foundation of a building and in other areas on the property for locations of interest.  Here too, you can plan for spring, summer, and fall color.  The trick with landscape beds is that trees and shrubs grow much bigger than perennials and the focus should be on how big they will become at maturity.  This is a common mistake in landscape planning.
